We’re Expanding - A New Chapter for The Upper Room

There’s something special about watching a space grow.

When we first opened The Upper Room, the vision was simple … to create a beautiful, calm and inspiring place where people could come to work, create, connect and feel part of something bigger than just a desk.

Over the past few years, what has grown here has been far more than a coworking space. It has become a community.

Designers, architects, photographers, writers, wellness practitioners, founders and creatives have all gathered here .. sharing ideas, conversations, coffees from downstairs, and sometimes even a surf before work across the road.

And now… we’re ready for the next chapter.

We’re Expanding Upstairs

Due to growing demand and the incredible community forming here, The Upper Room is expanding into the entire upstairs level of the building.

This means we’ll be adding:

• Brand new desks (including stand-up desks)
• A beautiful additional workspace room
• More room for collaboration and quiet focus
• Even more space for our creative and entrepreneurial community to grow

The new space will carry the same feeling people love about The Upper Room … natural light, calm energy, thoughtful design and a warm community atmosphere.

It’s the kind of workspace that feels inspiring the moment you walk through the door.

A Space Within The Neighbourhood

One of the things that makes The Upper Room truly unique is that it sits within The Neighbourhood … a vibrant ecosystem of businesses and community spaces all under one roof.

In the same building you’ll find:

• Neighbourhood Boxing
• Neighbourhood Wellness (now moving into its own beautiful larger space downstairs)
• Sato Café for your morning coffee or lunch break
• A community of like-minded locals doing meaningful work

It’s a place where work and life naturally blend together … where you can finish a project, grab a coffee, join a class, or simply connect with the people around you.
